I started IVF one month before turning 38. Acupuncture with Mike Berkeley was highly recommended by my fertility doctor when I asked him how I might improve my egg quality. At our first consultation, Mike conducted an in depth interview to better understand my health history and fertility goals. In addition to acupuncture he recommended supplements that support fertility and egg quality. I was so impressed with the initial visit that I decided to purchase a treatment package. Mike has specialized in fertility acupuncture for most of his career. Throughout our time working together I felt comfortable discussing all of my IVF questions concerns and curiosities. He was always incredibly generous with his knowledge and guidance. Mike is warm, personable, and genuinely invested in his patients. He was reassuring, consistently positive and my biggest cheerleader throughout the process. Acupuncture became a calming routine and an anchor for me during the emotional stress of IVF. My Results These results are relevant to patients who are struggling with egg quality due to age but that have no other known diagnosis. During IVF, I learned from Mike that the eggs retrieved in a cycle actually begin developing about three months earlier. Over the course of three months, I completed three egg retrievals while receiving acupuncture with Mike twice a week and following his supplement recommendations. * First retrieval: 1 euploid embryo (graded 4BA) * Second retrieval: 1 euploid embryo (graded 3BB) * Third retrieval, after three months of acupuncture and supplements: 2 euploid embryos, both graded 4AA! I also worked with Mike before and after my first embryo transfer. The transfer was successful and I continued treatment with him for up to 13 weeks afterward. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant from my very first transfer. If you’re looking to improve egg quality and want the support of a knowledgeable, compassionate and highly experienced fertility acupuncturist, I cannot recommend Mike Berkeley highly enough!

I cannot speak highly enough of Mike Berkley. It is unfortunate to say, but it is more common today to find healthcare providers who just want to move you along, or who don’t want to invest the time and energy in more difficult cases. I had been struggling for 3 years to conceive before I reached out to Mike for the first time. He was so invested in helping me from the first call we had. He made a plan for me which made sure we were covering all the bases. Within 2 months of seeing him, I was pregnant. Healthcare can actually be care if you find the right person. After trying to get pregnant for 8 years and going through fertility treatments for several years, I truly appreciated how his approach complemented and worked hand-in-hand with my medical treatment. Mike has been an incredible part of my IVF journey. From the start, he made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Mike Berkley. The decision to seek out his care has been a turning point in my fertility journey. I just feel better, like I have a doctor on my team. I was in agony and couldn’t walk after my booster shot for at least a year commitment I had this bizarre rash that would be bleeding when I woke up in the morning from scratching so much that no doctor could address or explain. I went the natural way called Mike Berkley, even though he specializes in infertility he is a healer. Right hand to God when I got off the table stopped itching and has not bothered me since and I was walking with almost no pain at all‼️ Berkley gave me my life back. I recommend him more than I can even say he is a true healer and a gentle , kind person who really cares‼️🙏🩵

I wish I had known about the benefits of acupuncture when I first started my fertility journey. After an unsuccessful transfer, I did a deep search online and discovered a lot of women talking about acupuncture. After much research, I found the Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness and specifically gravitated here as they specialized only in fertility success. I was treated by Mike for pre-and post transfer sessions, as well as weekly sessions until I was Week 13. I am now in my 2nd trimester and miss my sessions with Mike. He is extremely knowledgeable in women’s reproductive health and has such a quirky personality, which I loved. I cannot say if acupuncture was the reason my 2nd transfer was a success, but it sure does not hurt especially while we are all hanging on to hope. If you are considering acupuncture, I highly recommend seeing Mike at the Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness!!!
