I cannot speak highly enough of Mike Berkley. It is unfortunate to say, but it is more common today to find healthcare providers who just want to move you along, or who don’t want to invest the time and energy in more difficult cases. I had been struggling for 3 years to conceive before I reached out to Mike for the first time. He was so invested in helping me from the first call we had. He made a plan for me which made sure we were covering all the bases. Within 2 months of seeing him, I was pregnant. Healthcare can actually be care if you find the right person. Mike Berkley is that person.

I had a wonderful experience with Mike Berkeley’s fertility-specific acupuncture program. After trying to get pregnant for 8 years and going through fertility treatments for several years, I truly appreciated how his approach complemented and worked hand-in-hand with my medical treatment.

The pre- and post-embryo transfer sessions made a meaningful difference for me. Mike is incredibly responsive, quick with scheduling, and even accommodates Sunday appointments if a transfer falls on that day, which is invaluable during such a critical time.

Going through IVF is not easy—physically, emotionally, and mentally it can be one of the most challenging things you’ll ever do. That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with people who are genuinely invested in your success. From the very beginning, Mike was exactly that kind of person for me.

I started acupuncture with Mike two months before my embryo transfer. On the day of the transfer, I did both pre- and post-transfer sessions with him, and I continued seeing him weekly through week 13 of my pregnancy. From our very first consultation, I knew he cared—he took the time to ask thoughtful questions and create a plan that was tailored specifically for my body and my journey.

What sets Mike apart is that he’s not just performing a service—he’s walking with you through the experience. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, he’s compassionate, attentive, and always present. He’s the kind of practitioner who texts you back, checks in, and makes sure you feel supported the entire time.

Before Mike, I had tried acupuncture at another place, and honestly, it felt clinical and detached. With Mike, it was the opposite. I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. He becomes your cheerleader, your guide, and someone you can trust in a process where trust is everything.

I truly enjoyed every session with him, and when the time comes for my second transfer in a couple of years, I won’t even consider going to anyone else.

Mike has been an incredible part of my IVF journey. From the start, he made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Mike Berkley. The decision to seek out his care has been a turning point in my fertility journey. I just feel better, like I have a doctor on my team. Before my conversations with Dr. Mike, I felt scared and anxious all the time. The experience Id had thus far with my fertility doctor/clinic caused me to feel uninformed, ignored, and shut out of really important information about my own body, hormones, and fertility factors. Dr. Mike took the time to really get to know everything about my health history, lifestyle, and personal history that could possibly impact my fertility. His "no stones unturned approach" felt reassuring, and also led to discoveries about deficiencies and hormonal imbalances that could be impacting my egg quality. Not only that, he made it easy to get herbs shipped all the way across the country and he collaborated with my local acupuncturist, so that she could administer new needle points for me. I was in agony and couldn’t walk after my booster shot for at least a year commitment I had this bizarre rash that would be bleeding when I woke up in the morning from scratching so much that no doctor could address or explain.
I went the natural way called Mike Berkley, even though he specializes in infertility he is a healer.
Right hand to God when I got off the table stopped itching and has not bothered me since and I was walking with almost no pain at all‼️

I wish I had known about the benefits of acupuncture when I first started my fertility journey. After an unsuccessful transfer, I did a deep search online and discovered a lot of women talking about acupuncture. After much research, I found the Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness and specifically gravitated here as they specialized only in fertility success. I was treated by Mike for pre-and post transfer sessions, as well as weekly sessions until I was Week 13. I am now in my 2nd trimester and miss my sessions with Mike. He is extremely knowledgeable in women’s reproductive health and has such a quirky personality, which I loved. I cannot say if acupuncture was the reason my 2nd transfer was a success, but it sure does not hurt especially while we are all hanging on to hope. If you are considering acupuncture, I highly recommend seeing Mike at the Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness!!!

In a world of infertility unknowns, the Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness was a welcomed constant. Mike is wonderful! My fertility doctor suggested acupuncture as a stress reliever, and acupuncture was something I could do in an unexplained infertility world I was living. I admit I was hesitant because I am not good at lying still without anything to entertain me, and meditation does not come easily for me. I soon learned to relax with Mike's guidance and therapy. He became not just my acupuncturist but my therapist, coach and friend. I started working with Mike to increase my egg quality about two years ago. He is knowledgeable in fertility medicine, and I looked forward to our sessions. I have since "graduated" from acupuncture and can excitedly report I am in my 2nd trimester! I owe a lot to Mike!

I found Mike's practice through his amazing Google reviews; and as such, I feel compelled to share my own. This is a long review, but I imagine that most of Mike's clients, as I did, read all of his reviews before taking the steps to make an appointment. So, I wanted to share *all* about my amazing journey at the Berkley Center.

I began seeing Mike in February of 2023. Having had previously favorable experiences with acupuncture, I wanted to do everything I could as we sought to have another child. Acupuncture is, of course, less invasive than many of the medical fertility procedures, so I really wanted to start here. As such, I wanted to see someone at the top of their game as a practitioner--and all of Mike's reviews supported he was just that. And, I just wanted to be as efficient with my time as possible!

Mike was extremely prompt in contacting me after my initial inquiry. He worked with my schedule; and, from the get-go, I was impressed with everything. His office is beautiful--wonderfully curated to make his clients feel as relaxed as possible. Truly, you feel like you're in a spa! And, as a practitioner, Mike is skilled--for those on the fence about acupuncture, I assure you that with Mike, there is no discomfort at all. In fact, during many of my visits, I fell asleep.

Now, I sought this practice to help me conceive. And after a few sessions (I think I had seen Mike three or four times at this point?), I thought that to be the most efficient with my time, I would see Mike while simultaneously seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE). I had my initial visit with my RE, and got the requisite bloodwork before beginning a possible journey of IUI. Well, I got a call later that day after my RE appointment that I was pregnant. So, I never actually needed to get IUI!

I then continued seeing Mike, right through my 12 week mark (I think...maybe it was a few weeks more?). Of course, things were working so well that I wanted to do everything I could to ensure my pregnancy remained both viable and healthy. I asked Mike on more than one occasion if I could continue seeing him; and, this is where his character and honesty really shined. He said this wasn't necessary, as research doesn't support continued visits made an impact after this point of pregnancy. Here I was, willing to spend more money at his business, and he declined. I think that speaks volumes about Mike, who he is, and the kind of honest business he operates.

Fast forward a few months, and I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy! I do not understand the nuances of the practice of acupuncture and Eastern medicine; but, I can indeed say that all it can do is help. And, I am so grateful to Mike that his work helped me grow my family! I cannot recommend him enough!
